Student Affairs

The Student Affairs Committee, chaired by Austin Ryan, is dedicated to anything and everything involving students. It tackles the issues that students are facing today in order to make the Centre experience even better.

The purpose of the committee is as follows:

The Student Affairs Committee strives to create an informed student body and an enjoyable environment for all members of the Centre community. The main goal of this committee is to be the liaison between student organizations and the Student Government Association. By providing information and advice through resources such as the student handbook and mini-workshops, this committee hopes to provide all student organizations with the tools they need to be successful organizations that accomplish their goals and maintain good student retention. Other projects include first year passports, the readership program, discount cards, and the Colonel Companion.

Current Projects:

– Continuing to keep students informed about the Good Samaritan Policy

– Finding new ways to curb vandalism

– Reviewing the student honor code
